Centre County voters will decide a variety of local primary races Tuesday, as precinct polling places across the region will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
County-wide races include the Democratic and Republican contests for county-commissioner and county-judge nominations. In the State College area, five of nine school-board seats are in play this year. And in the borough proper, four of seven council seats are up for grabs.
The county government has posted sample ballots for each municipality. They’re posted on the county’s website.
Voters can visit that site also to identify their respective polling places. A number of polling-location changes are in effect this spring, including in State College borough, Port Matilda borough, Ferguson Township, College Township and Harris Township, so voters may want to confirm their precinct polling locations before heading out to vote.
An array of election-related material is available through the StateCollege.com politics page, as well.
Check back with StateCollege.com for election updates during the day Tuesday and Tuesday night.
