State College’s tallest building became a giant rock wall on Thursday.
More than 70 people rappelled down to side of the 155-foot Fraser Centre as part of the second annual State College Over the Edge to raise money for Centre County nonprofits Faith Centre and Interfaith Human Services.
Over the Edge is an international organization that partners with nonprofits for rappelling fundraisers, Faith Centre Executive Director Nicole Summers explained.
Thursday’s event and the fundraising leading up to it raised $86,000 for Faith Centre and IHS, both of which help Centre County residents in times of need.
