State College police are looking into a couple credit-card-fraud incidents reported in College Township last month, according to a news release.

Two men made fraudulent credit-card purchases between 2 and 3:30 p.m. May 4 at Wal-Mart, 373 Benner Pike, and at the Giant supermarket, 2222 E. College Ave., police said.

According to the news release, the men used a fraudulent card or cards that registered their purchases to a man living in Corpus Christi, Texas. Surveillance video shows the men using credit cards and buying store gift cards, police said.

‘Wal-Mart corporate security is also involved in this incident due to similar, multi-state incidents,’ the release reads.

Police are asking anyone who can identify either of the suspects — and anyone with any additional information — to call State College police at (814) 234-7150 or to submit an anonymous tip through the police website. Surveillance images released by the police are included in the image gallery to the right of this report.
