State lawmakers are asking questions about the Penn State scandal.
With the university still receiving state funding, there’s questions about what Jerry Sandusky’s arrest will have on the state support, and should more be done to investigate administrators, who state police said, did little, in properly reporting the Sandusky child abuse allegation.
“This is about what’s happening to young people, as opposed to what’s happening to an institution,” said Rep. Scott Conklin, (R) Centre County.
A number of state lawmakers, like Conklin, said they may hold hearings on the Sandusky scandal.
