Update: A 68-year-old woman was killed in the crash. According to State College police, she was driving eastbound when she crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a tractor-trailer.
The road was closed until about 4 p.m. for crash reconstruction.

A section of U.S. Route 322 in Centre County is closed on Wednesday afternoon following a multi-vehicle crash.
The road is closed between the eastbound Old Fort exit and the Boal Avenue interchange near Boalsburg, according to the State College Police Department.
The closure, which began just before 1 p.m., is expected to be in place for an “extended” period of time, Centre County 9-1-1 wrote in a Facebook post. Traffic is being directed off of U.S. 322 to Boal Avenue, and the orange detour using Routes 45 and 144 will be in place for eastbound traffic.
