‘Crickfest’ Set for Sept. 2

The Penns Valley Conservation Association will sponsor the 10th Annual Crickfest from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Coburn Park.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is a celebration of Pennsylvania’s waterways, farms and forests. It will feature music, food, games and other activities. Proceeds benefit the environmental education programs at the Penns Valley Area Schools.

Some activities and events include a rubber ducky race, petting zoo, scavenger hunt, musical acts and storytelling. Food will be provided by Bobbie’s Kitchen and Sweet Creek Café. Donations of additional baked goods are welcome.

Additionally, various clubs and non-profit organizations will have informational tables set up.
