Be careful driving Sunday morning; patches of dense fog will be present across the State College area.
The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement, warning that fog will reduce visibility to less than a quarter of a mile at times.
Clear skies overnight along with light winds and moist air is what’s causing the fog. Dense fog is most likely in deeper valleys throughout central and northern Pennsylvania.
The fog should last for a relatively short period of time and will begin to life by 9:00 am.
