The Lady Lions made a statement in the Big Ten on Sunday, defeating No. 15 Nebraska on the road, 93-73.
Penn State (13-4, 3-2 Big Ten) won back-to-back conference games for the first time this season and handed the Huskers their first league loss of the year.
Sophomore guard Maggie Lucas led all scorers with 24 points and junior point Alex Bentley added 23 to help Penn State avenge an eight-point loss to Nebraska in their conference opener last month.
Zhaque Gray (16) Nikki Greene (12) and Mia Nickson (12) joined Bentley and Lucas in double figures. The Lady Lions shot 53.7 percent from the floor.
Nebraska led by six at the half, but the Lions used an 18-5 run to open the second half and never looked backed.
The Lady Lions visit Illinois on Thursday before returning home Sunday against Iowa.
