Passersby may notice a large volume of police and other emergency response activity on Tuesday in Ferguson Township, but it won’t be a cause for concern.
Emergency responders from around Centre County will be taking part in a ‘readiness exercise,’ according to Penn State University Police and Public Safety.
The exercise will take place at the Pine Hall Building off Science Park Road.
‘Motorists and pedestrians may notice the police activity in the vicinity of Science Park and Pine Hall roads, therefore UPPS wants to reassure the public that this is only an exercise,’ a Penn State police Facebook post said.
