A man who State College police say head-butted his pregnant girlfriend several times is now in custody.
Marcus Port, 29, was arrested early Sunday morning following an argument that turned physical.
Port allegedly pushed his girlfriend off a bed and threatened to punch her in the stomach.
He then head-butted the woman three or four times, according to a criminal report.
Police say Port believed his girlfriend was cheating on him with a man named “Dennis” and told her to call him. Instead of calling Dennis, she called the authorities.
The woman told investigators she was worried, not only about her own safety, but also for her unborn child. A judge reportedly granted a protection from abuse order.
Port is charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.
He was arraigned on Sunday afternoon and is being held on $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 3.
