A man already arrested for one armed robbery in State College will be facing charges in two other crimes.
State College Police say they plan to charge Jonathan Tenalio in connection with Monday night’s robbery at The Cove N.Y. Style Pizzeria.
Ferguson Township Police arrested Tenalio less than 12 hours after he allegedly used a gun to hold up the Nittany Budget Motel early Wednesday morning.
And that’s not all. Tenalio is also expected to be charged with a burglary at Doan’s Bones in Huntingdon County. That robbery happened earlier this week.
Tenalio’s arrest came after a tip from an informant.
Police said Tenalio brandished a gun during the robbery at the Nittany Budget Motel at 2070 Cato Avenue. It happened at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. He reportedly fled with $100. Tenalio is charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property in connection with that robbery.
Two days earlier, Tenalio allegedly used a gun to hold up The Cove. That happened about 9:30 p.m. Monday. No word yet on how much money was taken in that incident.
Tenalio, 25, is being held at the Centre County Correctional Facility on $150,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Oct. 2.
