The 2012 Music at Penn’s Woods concerts launched Wednesday in Esber Recital Hall on Penn State’s campus.
The festival will feature three more shows this summer, including the Festival Orchestra Concert Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
- Chamber Music Concert: 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20
- Festival Orchestra Concert: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23
New to the festival this year is a chamber choir conducted by Dr. Christopher Kiver, professor of music at Penn State.
Music at Penn’s Woods is dedicated to the superior performance of music, innovative programming, and cultivation of the highest quality of music education by providing diverse musical programs in a professional setting, with the mission to contribute to the cultural reputation of Penn State and the Central Pennsylvania region.
