Penn State football has landed Class of 2018 four-star tight end Zack Kuntz out of Camp Hill. Kuntz, the No. 1 tight end prospect in the nation according to 247 Sports, committed to Penn State over other offers including Alabama, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Kuntz had 14 other offers, but the 6-foot-7 commit joins 2018 tight end commit Pat Freiermuth, a four-star prospect out of Massachusetts, with the Nittany Lions. The Nittany Lions currently have six other tight ends on the roster, including four currently in their freshman year.
Older brothers Christian and Brandon both played for Penn State, with the former playing as a wide receiver with the team until 2012 and the latter never getting his chance with the Nittany Lions before transferring to West Chester.
Penn State’s 2018 recruiting class, currently with five members, is ranked No. 4 in the nation according to 247 with the commitment of Kuntz.
