A New Jersey man died after a tractor-trailer crash Friday morning on Interstate 80 in Centre County.
Otis Thompson II, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash at mile marker 168.8 of I-80 eastbound in Marion Township, according to Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
State police are investigating and have not yet released a crash report.
It was the second fatal crash in less than three weeks in the area of a construction zone for a high-speed interchange to connect I-80 and I-99. A 52-year-old Minnesota man was killed in a seven-vehicle crash around mile marker 164 eastbound on Aug. 25.
