CBSSports.com’s Rob Rang’s draft projection: Undrafted free agent
Rob Rang’s analysis: I saw Troutman at the Senior Bowl and he didn’t stick out. That’s not a bad thing because there’s some pretty unique talent on the defensive line, so the fact he wasn’t absolutely killed out there is impressive in itself. I didn’t see great athleticism or blocking at the second level. The fact Penn State has churned out as many offensive linemen as it has, then you’re certainly going to give him a chance. The weight fluctuation and DUI charge, that’s going to scare teams a little bit. It sounds like a player who doesn’t have his priorities quite in line. I think he’s got a chance to get drafted because of the history of Penn State football and on his own talents, but he certainly was never a standout at Penn State and wasn’t able to be a standout at the Senior Bowl.
