THON 2017 is more than 48 weeks away, but the fundraising is truly a year-round effort. No one event exemplifies that fact than the annual Hope Gala, which raised $201,017 for THON and the Four Diamonds Fund on Saturday evening in New York City.
The event featured Penn State celebrities like Devon and Leah Still and sports broadcaster Kim Jones, along with THON students, alumni, and supporters alike. The @NYCHopeGala did a great job chronicling the evening on Twitter:
Thank you and congratulations to the 2016 #NYCHopeGala Directors on your commitment and passion towards the fight! pic.twitter.com/rWOm3vfeFU
