Condon fills the position on Chambers’ staff opened by Daly after deciding to leave the program to be with his family in Philadelphia.
During Penn State’s coaches recent Coaches Caravan tour Chambers told reporters he had received calls and inquires about the staff opening from roughly 150 candidates. Condon may not have unrivaled credentials, but his familiarity with Penn State, Chambers’ staff and the recruiting trail will pay immediate dividends during a crucial offseason.
