Penn State fans will get a glimpse of the future soon as the 2018 American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships roster was announced today, including incoming shooting guard Myles Dread.
The eighth annual event, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of 24 of the country’s premier high school seniors, will air April 1 at 1:30 p.m. ET on CBS. This year’s contest will be taped on March 27th.
Dread verbally committed to Penn State last July before signing his National Letter of Intent in November. The 6-foot-5, 205 pound prospect out of DC is a three-star recruit according to the 247 Network. He was named the Washington DC Gatorade Player of The Year earlier in the month.
Penn State’s 2018 recruiting class is two players deep with Dread joined by guard Rasir Bolton. Penn State also has a verbal commitment from guard Danill Kasatkin out of Virginia.
