The Penn State women’s basketball team rallied Thursday but failed to overcome Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind. The Boilermakers secured a 79-69 win over the Lady Lions.
Alex Bentley led the Lady Lions with 14 points in the game, according to GoPSUsports.com. Among other top scorers, Maggie Lucas delivered 13 points; Julia Trogele, 12; Zhaque Gray, 12; and Nikki Greene, 8.
