Parking lots around Beaver Stadium will open at 8 a.m. Saturday for Blue-White Weekend, Penn State announced Tuesday. Overnight RV lots will open at 8 a.m. Friday.
Stadium gates A and B will open at 12 p.m. Saturday for fans who want to participate in the autograph session, which will begin at 12:30 p.m. Gates C and E are scheduled to open at 12:30 p.m.
Both stadium parking and admission to the Blue-White Game, which will kick off at 2 p.m. Saturday, are free. (Overnight RV parking will cost $60 for the weekend.)
Parking and tailgating rules will be identical to those in place for the regular football season, according to Penn State. A complete list of items prohibited inside Beaver Stadium is posted via GoPSUsports.com.
Also, according to a university announcement, fans may notice that portions of the stadium are under construction. ‘The most noticeable change in Beaver Stadium since the end of last season is a project that will add more than 100 new locations for ADA patrons and companion seating for the 2011 season,’ the announcement reads.
