Penn State Football: A Look Back At Some Classic Nittany Lion Magazine Covers

Everyone has that favorite magazine from the big game or leading up to a memorable season.

It’s all part of being a fan. You try and forget the bad losses and only remember the big wins.

Most seasons won’t end the way you wish they would have, but that won’t diminish the great memories that can be made along the way. 

As the 2014 season approaches, more and more of these magazines hit the shelves. National publications give the likes of Christian Hackenberg, Bill Belton, and Geno Lewis their time in the spotlight.

All three of these players will make big plays for Penn State this year, and these magazines already know it. What they don’t know is when those plays will happen, and what they will mean for the big picture of that season.

With the latest crop of preview magazines and preseason articles hitting the shelves, it’s a good time to look back at some of the great magazine covers that fans have stored away.
