Three-star prospect Shaquon Anderson-Butts, who verbally committed to Penn State in July 2017, won’t be part of the Nittany Lions recruiting class, as the Harrisburg native signed with with Iowa Western Community College on Wednesday, the second signing day for the 2018 recruiting class.
Anderson-Butts is currently ranked as the 16th-best recruit in Pennsylvania and could play wide receiver or defensive back in college.
He made his verbal commitment to Penn State on July 25, but didn’t join his Harrisburg High School teammate Micah Parsons by officially signing on the early signing day in December. It’s been reported this was because of “school issues.”
