Welcome back, Penn State fans!

Maryland did not come into the Big Ten quietly last season, as things between the Terrapins and Nittany Lions escalated before the Nov. 1 game, with a not-so-subtle snub from Maryland captains of the routine pregame handshakes. Since that game however, Maryland has only won three football games and recently fired head coach Randy Edsall. Both teams are coming off lopsided losses to No. 1 Ohio State, though both were were within striking distance through the opening half of play. A now healthy Penn State team will look to improve its conference record (2-1) as a neutral site in Baltimore will play host to this matchup. For those of looking to observe from a distance, find all the must-have media information you’ll need for today’s matchup:

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. Eastern TimeT

Television: ESPN David LaMont (play-by-play), Ray Bentley (analyst);Dawn Davenport (sideline)

Radio: Local: 93.7 FM and 1450 AM | Sirius: Ch. 134 and XM: Ch. 201

Weather: A trip out of Pennsylvania will see the Nittany Lions take the field on a 60 degrees afternoon game.

Last Time They Met: Maryland came into Beaver Stadium and walked away with a 20-19 win, in its inaugural season in the Big Ten. The win, however, is certainly an outlier in the two programs history as Penn State holds an overwhelming 35-2-1 record versus Maryland.

Injuries: Easily the most positive week in the injury department so far this season. Last week, the Lions welcomed running backs Saquon Barkley and Akeel Lynch back to the field and tight end Adam Breneman played for the first time since 2013. Hackenberg sustained an injury late in the game, but gutted it out to finish the game after doctors cleared him on the sidelines. Angelo Mangiro returned to the field also after missing Indiana game. James Franklin did reveal TE Kyle Carter is dealing with an undisclosed injury, thus forcing Carter to stay home for the Ohio State game.
