Former Penn State defensive tackle Jordan Hill has accepted an invitation to play in the 64th Senior Bowl on Jan. 26, Penn State announced Monday.
Kickoff is at 4 p.m. at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. NFL Network will televise.
Hill is the second senior to accept an invite to a postseason all-star game. Fullback Michael Zordich accepted an invitation to play in the 2013 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on Jan. 19 in Carson, Calif.
Hill will likely be one of the first Penn State players taken in April’s NFL Draft. Hill said after the season finale against Wisconsin that he would have his injured left knee evaluated by team doctors. He recently told the Harrisburg Patriot-News that he underwent arthroscopic surgery on the knee late last month. Hill said he will remain in State College to train for the upcoming draft.
He finished fourth on the team with 64 tackles, including a career-high 12 in the 24-21 overtime victory against Wisconsin on Nov. 24. He finished second with 4.5 sacks, tied for third with 8.5 tackles for loss, recorded an interception, forced one fumble and recovered another.
