Pennsylvania’s top 2021 prospect, five-star offensive tackle Nolan Rucci, will announce his college decision on Tuesday evening. Rucci publicized the pending announcement date on his Twitter account late last week.

A product of Warwick High School in Lititz, Rucci will make the call live, streaming on CBS Sports HQ at 6:00 p.m EST.

Coming in on the scales at 6-foot-8, 295-pounds, the 247Sports Composite rankings list him as the No. 1 overall recruit in Pennsylvania, the No. 5 offensive tackle in the country and No. 14 overall prospect in the nation.

Rucci will be choosing from a list of finalists that includes Clemson, Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State and Wisconsin. The Badgers are reportedly the favorite to land Rucci’s services according to the 247 Network’s Crystal Ball, a collection of recruiting experts that predict future commitments.

Rucci most recently visited Penn State in early August.

In an interview with the 247 Network, Rucci cited academics and the ability to one day play in the NFL as two key factors in his pending decision.

Rucci would be the headline piece to Penn State’s 2021 haul that is currently rated the 33rd best in the nation in large part due to a fairly small, 13 commitment class. Rucci would join fellow lineman Landon Tengwell in the fold as two of the marquee signings of the 2021 cycle.
