The cost of regular and student season Penn State football tickets will both increase this year for the first time since 2009.

Penn State announced on Tuesday that student season tickets will increase from $218 to $232, or $2 per game, for the upcoming season. The athletic department previously announced in November that the cost of a regular season ticket would rise from $385 to $420, or $5 per game.

More than 6,100 new season tickets have been sold for the 2018 season and combined with a high renewal rate are expected to sell out in the next 10 days. Tickets for the 2017 season were exhausted by August of last year, marking the first sellout since 2008.

Student season tickets beginning on June 18 for graduate students, followed by seniors (June 19), juniors (June 20), sophomores (June 21) and freshmen (June 22). Sales begin each day at 7 a.m. and close at 2 p.m. or when allotted tickets are sold out. Eligibility and schedules can be found at GoPSUsports.com/studentcentral.

Nittany Lion Club members will be able to buy single game tickets starting on May 15, based on NLC points. Single-game tickets will go on sale to the public on June 26, with details and games available for purchase to be announced. Additional informations can be found at GoPSUsports.com/tickets.

Advance season and single-game parking will remain the same price at $20 plus a $2.25 service fee. The cost of buying a parking pass on the day of the game will increase, however, from $40 to $60.

Fans should receive season tickets and parking by mid-July.
