It looks as though Penn State’s future is plenty bright on the offensive side of the ball as two commits — wide receiver Justin Shorter and running back Ricky Slade — made the most of their trip to Oregon for The Opening this past weekend. The event showcases upcoming talent from across the nation at Nike headquarters in front of scouts and reporters.
Shorter certainly surpassed his name in the clip below with fast hands off the snap and quick route movement down the field. He’s a 2018 verbal commitment to Penn State and at 6-foot-4, 213 pounds is rated the 43rd best prospect in the class.
BEAST.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Slade, the nation’s top running back recruit and Penn State commit, turned heads as well with a clip that has to be seen.
