Headed to Columbus for tomorrow’s football game between Penn Sate and Ohio State? The central Ohio chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association is hosting a two-day extravaganza for Nittany Lion fans, according to a press release from chapter.
Events will start tonight with a 6 p.m. tailgate at the Quaker Steak and Lube at 8500 Lyra Drive in Columbus, featuring meet-and-greets with the Penn State Nittany Lion and Penn State cheerleaders. Hors d’oeuvres will be served with a cash bar. A silent auction will also be held to benefit the PSUAA Central Ohio Scholarship Fund. Tickets for the tailgate are $18.55 in advance or $20 at the door.
Saturday’s activities will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a Penn State pep rally, held underneath a large tent set up behind the Fawcett Center. Members of the Penn State Blue Band, the Nittany Lion, cheerleaders and twirler Matthew Freeman all will be featured.
