A Penn State student faces felony charges after allegedly trespassing at a Penn State residence hall.

Olufemi Bamidele Agboola, 22, of Brooklyn, New York, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after Penn State police responded to call about a trespassing in progress at Brill Hall on campus. Police say Brill Hall is a private residence and all guests must be escorted by a resident at all times.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, police officers met with an unnamed witness who told police that Agboola had entered the hall several times in the past, had stalked the witness and tried to enter a dorm room.

The witness told police they were in one of the dorm rooms in Brill Hall on Tuesday when there was a knock on the door, but no one was visible through the peephole. The witness reportedly advised the resident of the room to hide in the bathroom because they feared the knock was from Agboola.

The witness told police Agboola was discovered on the third floor, where the witness confronted him and he left the hall.

Agboola, who is listed as an undergraduate student in the Penn State directory, faces felony criminal trespassing charges. He has been released from the Centre County Correctional Facility on bail, and now awaits a Wednesday preliminary hearing.
