Penn State Wrestling Announces Jordan Center Dual Meet

no description

Penn State wrestling has hosted at least one dual meet in the Bryce Jordan Center in each of their last three seasons, and Penn State will continue to meet the high demand for tickets this year by hosting Lehigh at the BJC on Sunday, December 4.

In a long series against Lehigh, Penn State maintains a 67-34-3 advantage, including wins at the last six match-ups. Last year, the Nittany Lions secured a 28-9 victory over the Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem.

Winning five of the last six NCAA and Big Ten titles, Penn State averaged a school record 8,756 fans at each dual meet last year, selling out 32 of the last 33 meets — 29 consecutive at Rec Hall and three of four at the Jordan Center. The team went 16-0, 9-0 in Big Ten dual meets last year and also won a share of the 2016 Big Ten Regular Season Championship, the NWCA National Dual Meet Series title, and its sixth straight Southern Scuffle Crown.

Last year’s BJC duals featured match-ups against Wisconsin and Ohio State, which the Lions won 36-7 and 24-14, respectively.

Penn State athletics has not yet announced the complete 2016-2017 wrestling schedule.
