A Chevrolet car veered off the road and crashed into a decorative fountain area Wednesday evening in downtown State College.
It happened shortly after 5 p.m., when the car came to rest just outside the BioLife Plasma Services building, according to reports from PSN-TV anchor Greg Zyhowski. He shot the image posted to the right of this report.
The BioLife building is at the northeast corner of the West Beaver Avenue-South Atherton Street intersection, across from the Alpha Fire Company headquarters. Zyhowski reported that no one was hurt. Alcohol is not thought to have been a factor in the wreck, Zyhowski reported.
Last week, less than a block away, a car crashed at an Arby’s restaurant. The driver in that wreck is suspected of having been drunk, according to a Centre Daily Times report.
