PHOTOS: Penn State Hosts Iowa Hawkeyes at Beaver Stadium

Near-perfect autumnal weather is greeting football fans Saturday at Beaver Stadium, where Penn State will play the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2011 Nittany Lions’ Big Ten Conference home opener.

Kickoff is scheduled for 3:36 p.m., and the game will be televised regionally by ABC. (ESPN will carry the TV coverage in areas farther from Pennsylvania.)

The game will mark the 23rd time the teams have met. Iowa holds a slight upper hand in the series, with 12 wins.
