State College Police were called to the 300 block of Hillcrest Avenue on Thursday morning after some maintenance workers spotted a four-foot python in the street.
Police were able to apprehend the reptile, placed it in a utility box and transported it safely to Centre Care Wildlife in Port Matilda, Pa, police said.
