A State College area man was arrested Thursday on charges that he possessed more than two dozen videos depicting child sexual abuse.
Terrell J. Ealy, 24, of Ferguson Township, is charged with 26 felony counts of child sexual abuse material and one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility.
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Child Predator Section received tips from the messaging app Kik that a user had uploaded videos of suspected child exploitation between February and March 2025, a special agent wrote in an affidavit of probable cause. A review of the videos found children under the age of 18 engaged in sexual acts and poses.
An investigation found 26 videos of child sexual abuse uploaded to Kik accounts that were traced back to Ealy through internet service provider information, according to the affidavit.
Ealy was arraigned on Thursday morning by District Judge Allen Sinclair and posted a $100,000 bond shortly after being remanded to the Centre County Correctional Facility.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4.
