State College police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person allegedly involved in the assault of a 73-year-old man last week.
The suspect approached the man and punched him in the face on Oct. 8 as he was attempting to exit his vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart, 373 Benner Pike, Lt. K.L. Aston said. The man sustained injuries to his eye and face.
An independent witness and video evidence corroborated the account of the incident, Aston said.
Police are looking to identify the person pictured below in connection with the assault.
