An 11th-grader was taken to a juvenile detention facility Wednesday after he was found in possession of synthetic marijuana, State College police said.
The incident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. on the 600 block of Westerly Parkway, according to a police report. (Names in such incidents — involving juveniles — typically are not released in the media.)
Among other State College police reports released Thursday:
- Two males reported they were assaulted by a third male — someone known to them — on the 100 block of East Beaver Avenue. That incident was relayed to police around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
- An iPod, a Wii video-game system, a digital camera and $500 in cash were reported stolen from a borough apartment. The items reportedly were taken from the residence, at 501 W. College Ave., over the weekend, police said. A police report classifies the incident as a burglary. Police said there were no signs of forced entry.
