Police launch a new appeal for information about a Ferguson Township woman who vanished almost two months ago.
Jennifer Cahill-Shadle, 48, has been missing since May 15. She was last seen walking outside Walmart Plaza at 5 p.m. carrying a black shoulder bag.
Investigators say Cahill-Shadle lived in Ferguson Township for years before moving to Orwigsburg, Pa last November to live with her mother. She returned to the State College area in April, staying at hotels or with friends, but not at her Ferguson Township home.
Family members are said to be very concerned about her, telling police it’s unusual for Cahill-Shadle to go so long without contacting relatives.
Cahill-Shadle does not have a car and usually gets around by walking or taking a taxi.
The missing woman’s family tells investigators there has been no activity on her personal financial accounts.
If you have any information about this case, contact Ferguson Township Police at (814) 237-1172 or 1-800-479-0050.
