Ferguson Township police announced on Sunday that they found a woman’s body on the side of Plainfield Road’s 500-block in the early hours of the morning.
The department has since made it clear that the identity of the woman is currently unknown, and they hope to clear that up after providing descriptive details.
In a press release, Ferguson Township police stated that the white female is ‘possibly in the 18-35 year age range’ with short brown hair and tattoos on her lower forearms and legs.
She was wearing grey sweatpants and a dark grey, long-sleeved thermal shirt at the time of her death. There was a black and yellow band on her left ring finger.
The tattoos include one that says ‘Breeze’ below a small flower, a skull, and a pair of interlocked female gender symbols. You can see the array of tattoos and the finger band here:

An autopsy will be performed on Monday evening, and police said that additional information may not be available until after that occurs. Police don’t believe that this death is related to the recent unsolved murder of 60-year-old township resident Jean Tuggy. There’s a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in that case.
Police ask that anyone who may know the identity of the deceased woman or has information regarding the incident contact them at 1-800-479-0050.
