State College Police are looking to identify a suspect who allegedly injured another man with a knife during an altercation downtown.
The suspect had already fled when police responded at about 1:40 a.m. on Sunday to a fight involving three males outside of Sheetz, 129 S. Pugh St. Two men on the scene reported that a white, college-aged male wearing a red Santa hat and red sweater confronted them and became aggressive.
Police said the suspect, who was described as about 5 feet, 10 inches tall with brown hair, brandished a knife and was disarmed during a struggle. One of the men on the scene had a knife injury and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center.
The suspect sustained a left eye injury during the fight and is believed to have a red and swollen or black eye, police said.
