Pop Up Ave Urban Flea Market Returns for Fall Edition

Pop Up Ave, State College’s urban-style pop up flea market, will be back for its fall edition on Saturday.

Featuring a curated list of nearly 50 vendors of vintage and hand-crafted wares from around Pennsylvania, along with local food purveyors, live music and beer, Pop Up Ave is set for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday on the 100 block of South Fraser Street.

Food and beverage vendors will include Husky Bros Popcorn Co., Maine Bay and Berry, Moody Culture Kombucha, Koo-Weh Nana Baklava and Taylor Chip & The Perfect Dough

Elk Creek Cafe & Aleworks once again will provide a beer garden, which will be in a fenced area and require identification.

Performances will include Hops & Vines and Ady Martinez, and DJ sets from DJ Elbow Knee Knee and The Wizard of Groz.

Admission is free. The Fraser Street Parking Garage will be accessible from West Beaver Avenue.

Pop Up Ave was started in 2016 by Brad and Andrea Groznik to bring the kind of popular urban flea markets they enjoyed during their time living in New York City back to State College.

Since its founding, Pop Up Ave has become a new State College tradition that draws more than 3,000 people to each outing. The event is usually held in the spring and fall with a winter market added each of the past two years.
