A Penn State student journalist will host a Marie Claire-produced fashion show this week in State College, the fashion publication announced.
Elysia Mann, an undergraduate and fashion editor for Valley Magazine, will lead the show, scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at Sozo Institute of the Arts, 1224 N. Atherton St.
Among the attendees will be Marie Claire editor Joanna Coles, according to an announcement. The show will be part of Marie Claire’s inaugural Front Row College Challenge, operated in partnership with Loft and Rimmel London Cosmetics.
Mann is one of four ‘fashionista finalists’ in the challenge, chosen from an applicant pool of hundreds.
The finalists, spread across the country, are competing for a summer 2012 internship at the Marie Claire, Loft and Rimmel London offices. Hosting a fashion show is a key requirement of the competition.
