The State College Borough has made the following announcement in regards to refuse and recycling collection:
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Thursday, Nov. 28 refuse and recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 29. Residents are reminded to have their refuse and recycling at the curb no later than 7 a.m.
Public works crews are also off for the first day of deer season on Monday, Dec. 2.
Because of the schedule change, there will be no bulk item or brush collection on Monday, Dec. 2. The next scheduled bulk item and brush collection will be Monday, Dec. 9.
