Centre County President Judge David E. Grine has declared former county District Attorney Ray Gricar legally dead, multiple news outlets reported Monday.
Gricar disappeared more than six years ago. His daughter, Lara, sought in June to have the court issue a death declaration.
The family argued that a death declaration would allow it to move forward to ‘bring closure to some of the financial elements’ surrounding Gricar’s disappearance, WJAC TV reported on its website.
