Sanitary sewer line repair will require periodic closures of the 100 block of South Allen Street, between College Avenue and Beaver Avenue.
The road will be closed from 11 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, to 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22, for State College Borough Public Works crews to begin prepping the project.
Crews will begin replacing the sewer line on Jan. 1. The road will be closed to traffic and parking from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. for the duration of the work, which is expected to last about a week.
All businesses on the 100 block will keep regular hours during the project.
The work schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
The 100 block of East Fairmount Avenue, between South Allen Street and C Alley, also will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, for sewer repair.
