The Saturday video profile series offers a glimpse into the lives of people from State College and at Penn State.
This week, reporter Laura Nichols toured Memorial Field, the State College Area School District’s all-purpose, all-sports field with Ed Poprik, Director of Physical Plant for the district.
Most recently, the East Bleachers were separated due to safety concerns. The field as a whole, however, is in need of repair and has been a persistent topic at State College School Board of Directors meetings. Poprik shows us where some of the biggest problems lie, from the top of the bleachers to the bottom of the sinkhole.
