Sections of Curtin and Bigler roads are closed through Aug. 10 because of chilled water line installation.
The construction will progress in phases, but it is a daily process that affects parking areas at Wagner, Shields and the IM Buildings, as well as the campus shuttle and several CATA bus routes.

According to Penn State, the phases of construction:
Through June 8:
- Curtin Road is closed from Bigler Road to the access drive at Pennypacker Hall. Parking is available at Wagner, Shields and the IM Building via University Drive.
June 9-10:
- A small section of Curtin Road at the access drive to Pennypacker Hall will be closed overnight. Parking can be accessed Wagner, Shields and the IM Building will be available via University Drive.
June 11-22:
- Curtin Road will be closed from just east of Pennypacker Hall to a point just short of the entrance to Lot Yellow H at the Wagner Building. The portion of Curtin Road that crosses in front of the entrance to Lot Yellow H will be closed for work overnight or on a weekend during this time. Lot Yellow H parking at the Shields Building will be closed off. Parking at the IM Building and Wagner Building will be maintained by a temporary road.
June 25 to July 13:
- Curtin Road will be closed from the entrance to Lot Yellow H at Wagner Building to the entrance of Lot Yellow H at Shileds Building. Parking will be available at the Wagner and IM buildings will be accessible from Bigler Road. Parking at Shields Building will be from University Drive.
July 14-15:
- The section of Curtin Road that crosses in front of the entrance to Lot Yellow H at Shields Building will be closed overnight during the weekend of July 14-15.
July 16 to Aug. 10:
- The final phase will see the closure of Curtin Road from the entrance to Lot Yellow H at Shields Building to the intersection with University Drive. Parking during the final phase at Wagner, IM and Shields buildings will be accessible from Bigler Road only.
