One of the original ‘Sharks’ from the ABC reality show ‘Shark Tank’ is featured in a new, nationwide commercial campaign for a State College-based company.
Kevin Harrington stars in the ad campaign, launched Monday, for Banana Vital, which produces nutritious snack bars using just three ingredients.
Harrington, a successful entrepreneur who has been responsible for the launch of more than 20 businesses, is an infomercial pioneer and co-executive producer of AsSeenOnTV.pro. His international business success led to his role as one of the first ‘Sharks,’ on ‘Shark Tank,’ as self-made tycoons gave people the chance to secure business deals for their ideas.
Banana Vital was founded by State College entrepreneur Gracienne Myers. A 90-calorie bar made of just yellow bananas, green bananas, and citric acid, Banana Vital is a healthy, on-the-go snack that is pocket-sized and shelf-stable. By combining green and yellow bananas, it provides more vitamins and minerals than a basic yellow banana and is billed as an ideal snack for athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
