UPDATED AT 3:45 p.m.
State College police have released surveillance video featuring the suspect in a recent indecent assault incident.
Police say the male in the video is a suspect in the indecent assault that took place in a laundry room at a State College apartment building.
The incident occurred in the early morning of Feb. 16 at Park Hills Apartments in the 400 block of East Beaver Avenue.
The victim told investigators that around 1:30 a.m. a man pushed her into a fourth floor laundry room and indecently assaulted her. After the attack the suspect fled the scene.
Police acknowledge the suspect’s clothing description is different than the initial description given by the victim shortly after the incident, and say that is not uncommon in such incidents. However, police say additional video footage indicates the man in the video clip is the person responsible for the incident. However, to protect the identity of the victim, that footage was not released.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity can call Detective Stephen Bosak at the State College Police Department at 814-234-7150.
