A 75-year-old woman with dementia who was reported missing in the Boalsburg area has been found and is safe, State College police said on Sunday afternoon.
Freda Summers was transported to a hospital and is under medical care, the department wrote in an update.
Summers had last been seen at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday around Discovery Drive in Boalsburg, police said earlier on Sunday. She was believed to be on foot.
She was reported missing to State College police on Sunday morning.
“The State College Police Department thanks the community for its assistance with this matter,” police wrote.
