With visitors traveling to town for Saturday’s Blue-White Game, State College Borough announced Friday that certain parking restrictions will not be enforced this weekend.
The ‘No Parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.’ restriction will be lifted beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday through 6 a.m. Monday. One- and two-hour restrictions in residential neighborhoods will be lifted at noon on Friday, with enforcement beginning again at 8 a.m. on Monday.
Lawn parking will be permitted.
Still, the borough reminded drivers that Pennsylvania Vehicle Code violations will be enforced. These include no parking:
– on sidewalks
– in or within 20 feet of an intersection or on a crosswalk
– within 30 feet of a stop sign
– over 12 inches from the curb
– against traffic
– in front of driveways
– anywhere indicating no parking anytime.
Street and parking lot meters will be enforced as usual from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
